Throughout my management and operations experience, I gained extensive knowledge of mineral and metal extraction systems with significant exposure and experience in the detailed design of processing plants for Gold, Rare Earth Elements, Lithium, PGM’s, Base Metals, Heavy Minerals, Fluorspar and Industrial Minerals.

Team leader during bid preparation and contract negotiations with WINDALCO for contract mining at their Kirkvine and Ewarton bauxite operations. Managed a multi-disciplined team in the successful take over from the client of their personnel and plant for mining operations that included planning and scheduling, exploration drilling, access construction, stripping bauxite mining and transportation to the WINDALCO refinery and exhausted pit reclamation. Good client and union workforce relations are essential for project success, in addition to security and supply chain challenges. In the first twelve months, reclamation and production quantity and quality targets were exceeded. TAILINGS AND WATER PLANT ENGINEER 2004 - 2007
Inco’s tailings area, Sudbury operation, covers an area of approximately 10,000 acres. The tailings area
consists of inactive and active tailings storage sites and natural ponds. Noel ensured all tailings and water plant dams were constructed, operated and maintained to comply with regulatory requirements, design criteria, filling plan and to OMS manual guidelines. Noel ensured operation of water reservoirs and ponds to protect the integrity of the dams and minimize the risk of bypass of untreated water through the water treatment plants. He developed a hydrology model for the tailings area to manage spring run-off. Responsibilities also included the coordinating tailings work with the environmental group to eliminate and minimize risk of dust spills into outlying nearby towns.

Clarabelle Mill is a 40,000 tpd base metal milling operation. Noel conceptualized processing of slag reject through the revert circuit with regular ore resulting in business benefit for the mill. Noel developed process models through JKSimmet, Moly-Cop and statistical analysis software tools to optimize unit circuits and developed a unit grinding/classification circuit model used for simulation in the primary grinding circuit.

Thomas M Hecker
- Böhringer GmbH Germany was established by Mr. Paul Böhringer in 1946 to meet the demands of rebuilding the country. Aside from designing and manufacturing concrete block machines, Mr. Böhringer, with his engineering group, developed his own jaw, impact and hammer crushers along with other process equipment. Several International patents were granted for the different types of machinery.
- Complete plants as well as individual machines were successfully sold to the mining, quarry, and recycle industries. Over the years, Böhringer equipment has undergone design advancements and technology improvements resulting in a more economical way to process raw materials
- In early 1984 Thomas Hecker established Böhringer, Inc. in the USA the pioneer of these design advancements bringing with him 23 years of previous experience in design, manufacturing and sales of crushing equipment
